Arrrrg! Anyone Up For Some Pirate Info?

Hey readers! Today my family and I went to the Pirate's Museum in St. Augustine Florida! Fun, right! Anyway, there is so much to look at and learn from. Too much to remember fully, but I'll tell you what I do recall... 

The famous Blackbeard had 14 wives! 

Also, Black Ceaser (a pirate) was once a slave and escaped during a hurricane in a boat that his friend stole and both got away. Later, he killed his friend over a dispute about a woman. Then he kept on pirating on his own. Next, he joined Blackbeard and they pirated together. Black Ceaser was hung like most pirates.

Another pirate named Calico Jack worked with Anne Bonny and Mary Read and pirated as a trio. When Calico Jack was captured and was bound for a hangin' the two women were let go because both were pregnant. He was the father to both. Can you imagine being a pirate while being pregnant?! Anyway, Anne Bonny's last words to him were " Had you not fought as a man, you need not have been hanged like a dog."
