Dessert-Nail Polish

Hey! I am so excited about the dessert I made, recently! Drum roll, please! (Bum,bum, bummm!) I made nail polish delicacies! Below I will leave a recipe.

What you need:

  • Food coloring (I used red)
  • Medium-sized marshmallows
  •  Meltable White Chocolate
  • Tootsie roll mini bite candy-coated chews
  • Toothpicks
  • Wax paper
  • Cookie sheet
  • One small pot and one larger one
  • Wooden spoon
  • Scissors
Candy-coated chews

Instructions:

  1. Put wax paper on the cookie sheet.
  2. Take the toothpicks and stick them into the marshmallows. (Make sure not to stick it all the way through.)
  3. Fill the larger pot with water and place it on the burner.
  4. Put the smaller pot inside the other one.
  5. Put the White chocolate into the small pan and turn on the heat.
  6. Stir the chocolate with the wooden spoon.
  7. Once the chocolate is starting to melt, add the dye. I used red so it turned pink.
  8. We had to add oil to the chocolate because it was clumping. We used canola oil, but I would suggest coconut.
  9. When the chocolate is fully melted, dip the marshmallows into the chocolate by holding the toothpick.
  10. Make sure you dip the bottoms.
  11. Place the dipped ones on the cookie sheet.
  12. After all the marshmallows are dipped, slide the tray into the fridge to harden.
  13. Maybe wait 15 minutes just to make sure they're hard.
  14. Take the tray out.
  15. Take the toothpicks out of the marshmallows.
  16. Stick the Tootsie rolls on one end of those toothpicks.
  17. Cut some of the stick, so that it only goes through half of the marshmallow.
  18. MAKE SURE you flip the marshmallows before sticking the sticks in because that side has chocolate.
  19. And Voila! You have adorable nail polish sweets!

Please try this recipe! I loved the results, and I know you will too. Also, I hope you give others this recipe as well. ❤
