DIY Escape Room!

First off, Pinterest is AWESOME! Why do I say this? Well, I had the idea to have a DIY Escape Room and Pinterest helped me a lot. My sister and I are now planning one together. She is planning hers for the Kitchen and I am planning mine for the living room.

Arrrrg! Anyone Up For Some Pirate Info?

Hey readers! Today my family and I went to the Pirate's Museum in St. Augustine Florida! Fun, right! Anyway, there is so much to look at and learn from. Too much to remember fully, but I'll tell you what I do recall... 

The famous Blackbeard had 14 wives! 

Also, Black Ceaser (a pirate) was once a slave and escaped during a hurricane in a boat that his friend stole and both got away. Later, he killed his friend over a dispute about a woman. Then he kept on pirating on his own. Next, he joined Blackbeard and they pirated together. Black Ceaser was hung like most pirates.

Staying Focused on God

     Hey, everybody! I thought I would talk about an AWESOME app called YouVersion. It has daily devotionals called plans and they have the Bible.  On the plans, you can discuss your thoughts with your friends. You can highlight verses or bookmark. You can also write personal notes. I know that for me, this app helps keep my focus on God. I hope you try it! 😊

Easy Shrimp Tacos

Tacos, Tacos, Tacos! Shrimp Tacos to be exact!

What you Need:

1. Shrimp(Deveined)
2. Taco Wraps
3. Shredded Lettuce
4. Diced Tomatoes
5. Rice (White or Brown)
6. Cheese(Lots and Lots!)
7. Sour Cream
8. Guacamole
9. Sage, dill, cumin, curry, salt, and pepper. (Cayane is optional)

Fun at the Fair

We went to the fair today! Even though I have gone before, it is still fun. My Mom, sister, and I submitted art. My clay and wood art did much better, than my paintings and photographs. All well. There is always next year! I am happy to say that my sister got best in class, for one of her clay pieces!

I love ice skating! Okay, now I confess I am not very good at it. I mean if I am being COMPLETELY honest,...I use a walker on the ice. I enjoy it though. I hope someday I will be able to at least be average. I also like watching the figure skaters on the Olympics. I just stay positive and try to think of myself on the ice as a GOOD skater. I keep trying, and pick myself up when I fall. I am excited to share that I am going ice skating soon! Whoohoo! Practice makes Perfect, right? :)

Holy Land; We are going on the 31st!

On the 31st we are going to the Holy Land Experience! It is on a free day, so we have decided to go again. Holy Land has one free day in January each year. It is a really cool place with plays based upon Bible stories, a miniature version of Jerusalem, and the Garden of Gethsemane. I suggest believers and non-believers should go and enjoy this awesome theme park. I love one song that they played there. It was called The Days of Elijah. It is below. ↓ It is really uplifting! I'm Learning Latin!

Hi! You probably do not know what this means...unless you know Latin. I have been learning Latin! This sentence means: Jesus is Love! It is sort of fun to say. I learn it through Compass Classroom if you would like to check that out. The class is called Visual Latin. I just thought I would share that. Sorry, um I do not know how to say bye in Latin yet...Well, bye 4 now.

My New Idea: 1st flower

Hi! Sorry for not writing in a while. With the holidays and everything...I guess I just forgot to write. I think I am going to try something new. I am going to try to put one flower picture (Taken by me) on my blog once a week. So here is my first one. This picture was taken around eight in the morning in my back yard. These flowers are abundant here. 😊
