My Pets and Their Back Stories

My Cat
My Lovable Friends

Like I said in my Photography post, I am now going to talk about my pets! I have three dogs and a cat. The dog's names are Jack, Pebbles, and Lydia. My cat's name is Lottie. I will tell you about them
in the order we got them. Lottie is a sweet Calico cat that my Dad picked out. We got her as a kitten. When we first got her, she had an eye infection.

My mother had to give her eye medication and we gave her LOTS of love!!! Her eye soon got better. When she was older, she killed all sorts of animals, such as birds but mainly, rats. My Dad had wanted a wilder cat and he got one. She got her name based upon the Disney movie, Princess and the Frog, that had just come out. We named her after Tiana's friend Charlotte, who's name was often shortened to Lottie in the movie. Pebbles is a light brown Tea Cup Chihuahua. My mother brought her home one morning as a gift for me and my sister. Pebbles was SO excited to be there with us because the
My Dogother family did not have a very big backyard (We have a pretty big backyard especially for a tiny dog!) and we did not keep her in a cage. She is a sweet girl who loves, and I mean LOVES to lick! She also loves to take walks, which sadly for her, we do not do often because we have a fenced-in backyard. Lydia is a miniature Doberman Pincer and Tea Cup Chihuahua mix. She is REALLY small.
My DogWe got her from Helping Hands Animal Rescue in a Pet Co. My Mother had found them online. A lot of people were crowding around her cage. We waited until the people slowly walked away and then we held her and pet her. We had brought Pebbles with us in a bag, and when we let them meet each other Pebbles growled. My Mom had immediately wanted her, so my Dad got the paperwork, signed it, and we took her home! Little did we know how aggressive she was. The lady working with Helping Hands had said she was protective of everything. Lydia bit all of us within the first week or so, but once she trusted us she became very affectionate. Jack is a white German Shepard who we got for my Dad. My Mother, Sister, and I got
My Doghim from the father of the owner. He said his son was in the military, so he could not keep up with
him. Jack loves the three of us, but he is scared of Dad. Thankfully, he does not bite him. We are still working on him. Sorry, I know this was REALLY long! I am glad that if you are reading this now, then that means you stuck with me. I think that is about it on my quirky pets. :)  Bye for now.
