I Am Blessed with Food, Family, and Friends
As a tradition, each family member chooses one side dish to make for Thanksgiving. (The turkey and stuffing always are on the table with whatever side dishes we choose.) I have chosen homemade biscuits using our bread machine.
My sister is making butternut squash soup. Both of those sound REALLY good! My parents still have not clarified what dish they are making. They need to choose soon, because it is only a couple days away. I always feel proud of the food I make. We often watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, for Thanksgiving. My dad loves that movie. I am so excited! Our family does not have that many decorations for Thanksgiving, but that is okay. Thanksgiving is a happy time. Full, of recognizing your blessings. During this time of year it is nice that people take time to appreciate everything! Well, those are our traditions. I can't wait for Thanksgiving! :)
